The Eagle brand
name was launched by the Chrysler Corporation in 1987, the first new brand
name
for Chrysler since 1927. Eagle marketed its model lines exclusively in
conjunction with Jeep at Jeep-Eagle dealerships until 1998, when production of
Eagle brand models was discontinued.
